Lensball photography

A Lensball  is a fascinating Photograpic Tool that acts as a wide angle lens and captures your world differently!

Lensball photography utilises refraction. Refraction happens when light passes through an object of denser mass, as the light passes through, it bends. This is why Lensballs works so well at refraction. They are made from high quality glass that easily lets light pass through and keeps your image sharp and in focus.

You may not know it, but if you use a camera you are already a refraction photographer. To prove this, simply take off the lens front and rear caps. Look through your lens and you will see the image is upside down and projected through the concave glass just like lensball photography.

Using a lensball is simple, fun and creative. It can be used with any camera type and of course Smartphones which are especially portable.

When you look through the lensball at an object you will notice firstly it acts as a fisheye lens with something resembling a cool 180 degree vista in addition to inverting the image. You will also find a plethora of ideas online but the most important thing is to be innovative. Come up with your own creative ideas and just give them a go!
